Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between BOB MARLEY (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iain Durrant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iain Durrant is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, BOB MARLEY! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Iain Durrant! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durrant avoids a punch combination nicely.
MARLEY is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Durrant. Durrant doesn't manage to clinch there - MARLEY circles away.

Durrant drops MARLEY with a big left hand and mounts him. MARLEY is in big trouble!

It looks like BOB MARLEY has been cut. Durrant controlling from mount. Durrant looking to secure an arm triangle but MARLEY defends it well. Durrant is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's one minute gone in the round. MARLEY doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. MARLEY fails with a takedown attempt. MARLEY is breathing heavily. Donk. Durrant catches MARLEY right on the button with a cross. Durrant lands with a nice body punch. MARLEY gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Durrant to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Durrant advances to half guard. Well, if Durrant is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Durrant is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and MARLEY defends it well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Durrant stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows MARLEY to get to his feet. A jab from MARLEY misses. MARLEY throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Durrant. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. MARLEY is looking to control Durrant's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can MARLEY avoid being mounted? Durrant not doing much here.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Durrant works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MARLEY prevents Durrant from taking his back. MARLEY is looking to improve his position but Durrant isn't that keen on the idea. Durrant controlling from mount. Durrant can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as MARLEY is looking to escape. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Durrant content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iain Durrant dominated that round. The cut man is working on BOB MARLEY's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
MARLEY falls off balance throwing a combination
and Durrant counters with a three punch combo that has MARLEY backing up. MARLEY nods at Durrant to acknowledge the strikes. Durrant clinches up with MARLEY and pushes him back against the ropes. Durrant tightens his grip and picks MARLEY up, before dumping him to the ground. MARLEY manages to land in guard. Durrant slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Durrant working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Durrant is looking to take a break and control but MARLEY is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Durrant looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Durrant working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durrant thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Durrant decides to stand back up. Durrant steps back and let's MARLEY get back to his feet. BOB MARLEY seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Durrant shoots in and drives through. MARLEY sprawls well. MARLEY has his takedown stuffed and Durrant holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Durrant is trying to work for a single leg takedown but MARLEY pulls him back up using the underhooks. MARLEY tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Durrant just stands there and leans against the ropes. Durrant is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. MARLEY is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Durrant gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BOB MARLEY. That's going to take a lot out of him. MARLEY is fighting off a takedown attempt but Durrant is just too persistent for him and manages to trip MARLEY to the mat. MARLEY regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Durrant doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Durrant manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Durrant controls from within his opponent's guard. Durrant passes MARLEY's right leg, so he's now in half guard. MARLEY wants to get back to full guard. Iain Durrant has got the better of the ground game so far. Durrant takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. MARLEY misses with some strikes from the bottom.
MARLEY looking for submissions off his back. Durrant is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durrant looking for a guillotine from mount but MARLEY is having none of it. Durrant is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Durrant clinches up against the ropes. Durrant has MARLEY pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Durrant pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending MARLEY tumbling to the mat - Durrant dives into MARLEY's guard. Durrant wants to control from the top but MARLEY keeps moving. Durrant got a little sloppy there for a moment and MARLEY has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Durrant has managed to get both his arms back between MARLEY's legs - danger averted. Durrant drops back looking for a leg! MARLEY is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and MARLEY manages to kick Durrant off! Durrant jumps back into MARLEY's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MARLEY has his foot on Durrant's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Durrant works his way back into a safe position though. Durrant has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Durrant with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. MARLEY had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Durrant defends it easily. Durrant slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iain Durrant showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on BOB MARLEY's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Durrant throws out a powerful jab. Durrant is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Durrant is looking to take this fight into the clinch. BOB MARLEY is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. MARLEY misses with a wild combination.
Durrant looking for a takedown here - he's got it. MARLEY keeping moving, preventing Durrant from controlling successfully. MARLEY might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. MARLEY being controlled here, momentarily. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

MARLEY shoots and misses and Durrant counters with a single leg into guard. MARLEY didn't expect that. MARLEY is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Durrant is aware though and is defending well. Durrant controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Iain Durrant is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Durrant decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on MARLEY, up you get!

And that's the end of the fight! Iain Durrant comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Durrant has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
