The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a head kick but Hardy moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Hardy as Brown shoots in.
Brown misses with a straight right.
Brown drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hardy keeping full guard, as Brown tries to pass.

Hardy wants to stand and escape but Brown is having none of it.

Brown shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hardy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Brown throws a strike but Hardy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hardy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brown is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brown has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Brown wants to control from the top but Hardy keeps moving.

Hardy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.

Hardy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Brown wants to pass the guard but Hardy is keeping the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Brown trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hardy as he avoids it easily.
Hardy leaves Brown with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Brown rushes Hardy and presses him up against the cage.
Brown avoiding damage as Hardy throws knees to the body.
Brown's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brown is defended easily by Hardy.
Dan Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Brown.
Hardy is looking to slow Brown down with leg kicks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hardy tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Brown counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brown.
A body shot lands from Hardy.
Hardy tries to throw a body punch but Brown avoids it by throwing Hardy back against the cage.
Hardy throws an elbow but it misses.
Hardy wants to break free but Brown has control.
Brown breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brown misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown tries for a takedown but Hardy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hardy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brown's back!

Brown is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hardy is staying active.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hardy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Jackson Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
