Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerikko Teodoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakie Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teodoro comes to the cage accompanied by target=blank>falling down. Jerikko Teodoro is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerikko Teodoro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jakie Chan!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teodoro throws a head kick but Chan moves out of range.
Teodoro tries to clinch there but Chan circles away.
Jerikko Teodoro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Chan not doing much here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Chan moves into the clinch.
Chan prevents Teodoro from breaking the clinch.
Chan blocks the elbow strike.
Teodoro tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Chan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Teodoros head.
Chan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Teodoro's efforts to push away.

Chan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Teodoro can't fight it off and eventually Chan manages to take the fight to the floor. Teodoro looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Chan stands up from Teodoro's guard - Chan perhaps looking for a knockout.

Chan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Teodoro sprawls well initially but Chan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Chan stands up and beckons Teodoro to join him on the feet.

Teodoro is breathing heavily.
Teodoro pushes Chan off looking to stand but Chan dives back in and keeps control.

Chan stops Teodoro from getting back to his feet.
Chan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Teodoro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chan throws a leg kick but Teodoro sees it coming and moves out of range.

Chan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Teodoro closes the distance but Chan moves to the side

Teodoro has closed the distance and engaged Chan in a clinch.

Teodoro is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Teodoro to the mat. Teodoro regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Chan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Teodoro is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Teodoro has escaped and now he's on top!

Teodoro has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Chan pulls Teodoro in close to his closed guard and prevents Teodoro from doing any damage or advancing position.

Chan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Teodoro throws a sloppy head kick and Chan moves out of range easily.

Chan closes the distance and clinches.
Teodoro tries to stall but Chan uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Teodoro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Teodoro throws a half hearted mid kick.
Teodoro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Teodoro throws a right and a left that both miss.
Teodoro tries a head kick but it misses.

Chan has managed to clinch.
Teodoro misses with a knee strike.
Teodoro letting Chan take a breather here.
Teodoro tries to circle away but Chan has him pinned against the cage.

Chan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Chan scores a takedown into full mount!
Chan controlling the pace for now.

Chan throws some wild stikes that Teodoro manages to avoid easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chan is looking to work his way around to Teodoro's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Teodoro is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Chan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Chan get's back to his feet.
Chan blocks a head kick by Teodoro.
Chan scores with a push kick.

Chan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jakie Chan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Chan misses with the combination.

Teodoro drives through and clinches with Chan against the cage.
Chan stops a takedown attempt from Teodoro.
Chan is trying to drag Teodoro to the mat but Teodoro just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Teodoro wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Chan tries to pull guard but Teodoro holds him up against the cage and eventually Chan drops back down to his feet.
Teodoro throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Chan blocks it with crossed arms.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chan seems keen to control Teodoro's posture.

Chan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Teodoro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chan looking for a sweep. Not yet Chan, not yet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Teodoro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Teodoro postures up in Chan's guard and throws a big left but Chan blocks it.
Chan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Teodoro!
Teodoro tries to buck Chan off but he can't manage it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Chan stands up from mount. Strange move.
Teodoro misses with a takedown

and Chan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jakie Chan has got the better of the ground game so far.
Chan won't allow Teodoro to sweep him here.
Chan wants to pass the guard but Teodoro is keeping the position.

Chan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Teodoro swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Teodoro is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Teodoro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chan on the ground.
Chan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Teodoro's guard.
Chan stalling.
Chan moves nicely into side control.
Jerikko Teodoro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jakie Chan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Teodoro is trying to escape the position but Chan is controlling the position.

Jakie Chan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Chan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
