Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Claude Bawls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orja Kaleeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaleeri comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Orjakaleeri kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Claude Bawls has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Claude Bawls! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Orja Kaleeri! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bawls leaves Kaleeri with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kaleeri looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bawls! Kaleeri prevents Bawls from getting the reversal. Bawls wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kaleeri.
Kaleeri goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bawls is on top in guard.
Kaleeri keeping moving, preventing Bawls from controlling successfully. Bawls postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kaleeri is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bawls, into his guard. Kaleeri throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Kaleeri landing with the ground and pound. Kaleeri stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bawls swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kaleeri drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bawls dives on top into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kaleeri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bawls gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bawls drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kaleeri manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bawls has Kaleeri in his guard.

Kaleeri trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kaleeri pushing down on Bawls's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kaleeri slows the pace down in half guard. Bawls is not content to let Kaleeri control the position.

Kaleeri wants to pass the guard but Bawls is defending well. Bawls gets full guard. Bawls looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kaleeri thows a big elbow that misses. Kaleeri is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bawls is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bawls has escaped and now he's on top! Bawls stopping the sweep attempt from Kaleeri.

Bawls drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kaleeri manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bawls has Kaleeri in his guard. Kaleeri tries to free his leg and advance position but Bawls is retaining full guard. Bawls throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kaleeri escapes and throws Bawls's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kaleeri lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kaleeri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kaleeri closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kaleeri lands in his opponent's guard. Kaleeri trying to control the position from guard on top but Bawls is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bawls is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kaleeri content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kaleeri looking to sit in guard and control but Bawls gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bawls drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kaleeri looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kaleeri looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kaleeri! Kaleeri thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kaleeri tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kaleeri has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bawls manages to get back to half guard. Bawls works his way to full guard. Good work. Bawls working for a triangle but Kaleeri defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaleeri passes Bawls's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kaleeri wants to work for an arm triangle but Bawls is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kaleeri missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bawls is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kaleeri pulls his head out easily. Kaleeri is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kaleeri is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Kaleeri extends the arm and Bawls is forced to tap!
