Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pistol Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dent Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Core has chosen Fed Up as his entrance music. Dent Core has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pistol Pete! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dent Core! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pete tries to clinch but Core moves out of range. Pete tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. No luck for Pete with that takedown attempt. Pete tries to close the distance and clinch up but Core swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pete tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pete tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Core paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pistol Pete seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pete. Pete is looking to clinch. Pete fails in his attempt to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pete tries to clinch up. Pete pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Core fails in his attempt to clinch. Core closes the distance and clinches up with Pete, looking for a takedown. Core pushes Pete against the cage but Pete circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pete rushes Core and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Pete misses with a knee strike.
Pete tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Core takes an elbow to the forehead. Pete really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Core managing to block the knees to the body from Pete.

Pete wants to get back to striking at distance but Core won't allow it.
Pete slowing the pace effectively. Pete lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Core drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pete pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pistol Pete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dent Core. Core throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Core circles away from the clinch attempt and Core counters by moving into the clinch. Pete tries to break the clinch but Core is controlling the position. Pete is struggling to control the position. Core has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pete is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pete has had enough of the clinch but Core keeps him there for the moment. Pete with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Core wants to break the clinch but can't.
Pete is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Core tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pete just stands there and leans against the cage. Pete is looking to control Core's arms but Core gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pete has his back to the cage. Core has Pete pushed against the cage. Pete lands a nice knee to the body. Core is pushing Pete up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Core drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pete gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Core has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pete avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Pete connects with a knee to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Core has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pete is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Core looks gassed! Pete gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Core.

Pete is trying to break the clinch but Core is controlling him. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pete takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Core is trying to drag Pete to the mat but Pete just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Pete throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Core blocks it with crossed arms. A frustrated look appears on Core's face as he tries to break the clinch. Nice elbow from Pete. Core is trying to maintain a safe position but Pete gets an underhook and turns Core into the cage. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Pete obliges. Pete dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Core takes an elbow to the temple.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Core has Pete pressed against the cage, preventing Pete from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Core fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Pete obliges. Core tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pete just stands there and leans against the cage. Pete content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Core manages to break the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pete closes the distance but Core moves to the side and Core counters by clinching up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pistol Pete dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Pete instigates a clinch. Pete lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Core prevents Pete from breaking the clinch. Pete tries a knee to the head but Core blocks it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Core. Pete does a little dance to reset his feet. Pete closes the distance looking to clinch and Core counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Core showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Pete knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Core on the ground. Core trying to control but Pete is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pete can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Core controls the pace. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Core won't allow Pete to get back to his feet. Pete scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Pete closes the distance looking to clinch and Core counters with a nice double leg into guard. Core scoring with some ground and pound. Core prevents Pete from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Core is stalling in the full guard. Pete is trying to control the position but Core postures up. Core would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Pete wants to stand up but Core is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pete shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Core sprawls well. Core wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pete gets slowly back to his feet. Core leaves Pete with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pistol Pete is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Core gets a clinch. Pete scores a nice knee to the body.
Pete misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Core.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Core. Core can't get the takedown.
Core drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pete pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pete has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pete wants to break the clinch but can't.
Pete will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Core up against the cage. Pete is looking to break free of the clinch but Core has double underhooks. Core tries to pull guard but Pete holds him up against the cage and eventually Core drops back down to his feet.

Pete throws a head kick but Core moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dent Core showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Core stuffs the takedown attempt from Pete. Pete gets slowly back to his feet. Core circles away from the clinch attempt and Core counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pete won't be happy with that. A lull in the action here. Core works to advance to full mount. Pete defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Core controlling from the full mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Core prevents Pete from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pete is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Pete keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Core scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Pete?
Core controlling the position easily from mount. Pete tries to hold on but Core pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pete trying desperately to get to his feet.
Core looking to control and managing it successfully. Pete tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pete has left one of his arms exposed and Core doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pete screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
