Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Faure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Travis Faure has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Travis Faure seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Faure! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Santiago! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santiago misses with a series of wild punches.
Faure looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Santiago looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Faure passes to full mount! Santiago is squirming around, avoiding Faure's attempts to control the action. Santiago is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Santiago can do anything to dispel that myth. Faure with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Faure wants to take Santiago's back but he can't do it this time. Santiago really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Faure. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santiago's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Santiago defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Faure. Santiago is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Faure trying to control but Santiago is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Santiago avoids a series of strikes thrown by Faure.
Santiago is looking to improve his position but Faure isn't that keen on the idea. Santiago has given up his back.
Faure is trying to control but Santiago is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Faure wants to take Santiago's back but he can't do it this time. Faure moves to take his opponent's back. Faure working for a choke but Santiago is defending well. Santiago has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Faure struggling to land strikes to the head as Santiago covers up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Faure has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Santiago is defending well but eventually Faure manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Santiago has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
