Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jones Whitelaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier comes into the arena with xmen song blaring out of the sound system. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitelaw forces Xavier back against the cage and clinches.
Whitelaw lands a knee to the body.
Whitelaw is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Xavier can't fight it off and eventually Whitelaw manages to take the fight to the floor. Xavier looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Whitelaw is pushing down on Xavier's leg trying to pass to half guard. Xavier is fighting to maintain full guard but Whitelaw has managed to sneak the leg through.
Xavier is not content to let Whitelaw control the position.
Xavier tries to kick Whitelaw off but Whitelaw keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Xavier makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Xavier.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Xavier wants to stand up but Whitelaw is controlling him.
Whitelaw thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Whitelaw is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Whitelaw accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Whitelaw wants to pass the guard but Xavier is keeping the position.
Whitelaw is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Xavier can't keep his opponent in guard - Whitelaw advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Whitelaw is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Xavier doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Whitelaw.
Whitelaw is looking for a kimura but Xavier is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Whitelaw to get the leverage.
Xavier is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Whitelaw scores with a couple of nice shots.
Whitelaw is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Xavier is just riding it out for now. Whitelaw eventually gives up the hold.
Whitelaw seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Xavier does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Whitelaw looks gassed!
Xavier tries to roll over but Whitelaw keeps him under control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Xavier is trying to stand up here but Whitelaw is controlling him well.
Whitelaw is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Xavier!
Xavier is looking to improve his position but Whitelaw isn't that keen on the idea.
Whitelaw is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Xavier can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Xavier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Xavier is keeping busy.
Whitelaw lands strikes to the head.
Whitelaw lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Whitelaw trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Whitelaw patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Whitelaw has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Xavier.
Whitelaw is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Whitelaw gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Whitelaw gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Whitelaw apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Whitelaw slips a straight right by Xavier.
Xavier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Whitelaw moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Whitelaw shoots in and drives through. Xavier sprawls well.
Logan Xavier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Xavier misses with a two punch combination.
Xavier throws a series of punches but Whitelaw moves out of range.
Xavier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Xavier misses with the combination.
Whitelaw shoots in looking for a takedown. Xavier tries to sprawl out of it but Whitelaw keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Xavier manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A punch combination from Xavier misses.

Xavier throws a right hand that Whitelaw ducks under and follows up with a left that Whitelaw also avoids with ease.
Whitelaw misses with a takedown attempt - Xavier sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Logan Xavier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jones Whitelaw.
Whitelaw has managed to clinch.
Whitelaw has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Xavier clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Xavier is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Whitelaw wants to control but Xavier is keeping busy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Whitelaw is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Xavier has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Whitelaw has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Xavier taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Whitelaw doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jones Whitelaw!
