Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takeya Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giuseppe Zaluchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeya Maeda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Giuseppe Zaluchi! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zaluchi throws a series of punches but Maeda avoids them all with ease. Maeda shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zaluchi defends it nicely. Maeda shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zaluchi as he avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maeda shoots in for a takedown but Zaluchi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeya Maeda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maeda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zaluchi as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Zaluchi misses. Maeda has a takedown stuffed. Maeda shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zaluchi sprawls well. Zaluchi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maeda gets slowly back to his feet. Takeya Maeda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Maeda dives in and grabs Zaluchi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zaluchi pushes down on Maeda's head and hops out. Maeda shoots in for a takedown but Zaluchi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Zaluchi leaves Maeda with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaluchi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zaluchi throws a hook but Maeda blocks it. Zaluchi misses with a straight right. Maeda fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zaluchi avoids it really well and circles away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maeda.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Maeda shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zaluchi napping and manages to drive through into side control! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zaluchi is not content to let Maeda control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Giuseppe Zaluchi will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Zaluchi moves out of range as Maeda strikes. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Maeda is defended easily by Zaluchi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zaluchi lands a jab to Maeda's midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maeda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zaluchi pinned against the cage. Zaluchi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Zaluchi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Zaluchi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maeda wants to clinch up but Zaluchi keeps it at a distance. Zaluchi keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Maeda takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Maeda looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Zaluchi! Zaluchi wants to control but Maeda is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maeda tries to take his opponent's back but Zaluchi turns with him and manages to move into guard on the top. Nice work. Maeda has a closed guard, preventing Zaluchi from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Maeda working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Giuseppe Zaluchi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Maeda scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Giuseppe Zaluchi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zaluchi is not content to let Maeda control the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Maeda is really struggling to control Zaluchi but he's trying to hold on to the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaluchi wants to get back to full guard. Maeda is looking to take a break and control but Zaluchi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Maeda shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zaluchi sprawls well. Zaluchi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maeda gets slowly back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Takeya Maeda. I think Zaluchi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
