The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz is looking to score with low kicks.
Ortiz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Blinn!
Ortiz lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Blinn hang on?
Blinn is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blinn tries to lock up and control but Ortiz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ortiz lands a heavy elbow.
Blinn taking shots to the head.
Ortiz raining down shots from the mount!
It looks like Logan Blinn has been cut.
Blinn should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ortiz lands a nice shot to the head.
Blinn is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ortiz throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Ortiz unloads with some shots from mount but Blinn bucks and avoids them well.
Blinn is in a horrible position here. Ortiz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Blinn is still in real trouble! Can Ortiz finish him?
That has opened up Logan Blinn's cut even more.
Ortiz loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Blinn scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ortiz land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ortiz stands and salutes the crowd.
