Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Black Ninja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and qushane douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ninja circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - douglas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

douglas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with douglas in particular looking to stall.

Ninja can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as douglas controls the pace.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

douglas stands up from Ninja's guard - douglas perhaps looking for a knockout.
qushane douglas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

douglas is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ninja's half guard.

Ninja is bucking up trying to escape but douglas cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
douglas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ninja is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

douglas digs a right hand into Ninja's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ninja's gas tank.

Ninja wants to control but douglas is keeping him busy.

qushane douglas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

douglas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ninja sprawls well. Ninja wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. douglas gets slowly back to his feet.

douglas tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

douglas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ninja walks away with a smile on his face. douglas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Black Ninja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of qushane douglas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

qushane douglas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Black Ninja.
I think douglas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
