Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jan Jansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Aoc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoc has chosen Mag as his entrance music. Gabriel Aoc is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoc closes the distance and clinches.
Aoc on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Jansen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Aoc just stands there and leans against the cage.
Aoc gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jansen.
Jansen can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan Jansen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aoc has Jansen pressed against the cage.
Aoc decides to pull guard.
Jansen wants to stand and escape but instead Aoc has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Aoc stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Aoc is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Aoc connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jansen's hands.
Jansen wants to clinch up but Aoc keeps it at a distance.
Jansen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aoc sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jansen somewhat.
Aoc closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jansen is staying active underneath Aoc, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Aoc lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Aoc thows a huge punch but Jansen dodges it nicely.
Aoc is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jansen is just riding it out for now. Aoc eventually gives up the hold.

Aoc has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jansen's face.

Aoc has control of Jansen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jansen regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Aoc cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
BOOM! Aoc connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Aoc lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Aoc lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Aoc working for a guillotine from mount but Jansen is in no mood to give up.
Jansen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jansen tries to get out of the position.
Aoc has hold of Jansen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jansen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Aoc is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jansen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Aoc working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jansen looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Aoc! Submission of the night perhaps?
