Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rogedson Caetano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Schinke Schnitzel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rogedson Caetano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Schinke Schnitzel!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schnitzel fails with a takedown attempt.
Caetano looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

and Schnitzel counters with a single leg into guard. Caetano didn't expect that.
Schnitzel trying to control the position from guard on top but Caetano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Schnitzel tries to free his leg and advance position but Caetano is retaining full guard.
Caetano looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Schnitzel decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Caetano, up you get!
Schnitzel misses with the combination.
A head kick misses from Caetano.
Some bone on bone action there as Caetano checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
No luck for Schnitzel with that takedown attempt.
Schnitzel misses with a double jab.
Rogedson Caetano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caetano lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Schnitzel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Schnitzel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schnitzel is looking to take a break and control but Caetano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Schnitzel might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Caetano kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Caetano wants to get back to his feet.
Caetano is refusing to be controlled, as Schnitzel sits in half guard.
Caetano is trying to escape back to his feet but Schnitzel uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Caetano prevents Schnitzel from improving position.
Caetano tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Schnitzel looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Caetano is wriggling around trying to escape.
Schnitzel connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Schnitzel wants to control the pace but Caetano is squirming around nicely.
Caetano is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Schnitzel trying to control but Caetano is having none of it.
Caetano sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Schnitzel is looking to advance position but Caetano won't allow it.
Caetano is in trouble now - Schnitzel has advanced to mount!

Schnitzel working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Schnitzel working for a submission but Caetano is keeping him at bay.
Caetano wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Schnitzel lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Schnitzel trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Schnitzel lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Caetano hang on?
Caetano takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Caetano really wants to buck Schnitzel off and get back to his feet.
Caetano bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Caetano thows a big elbow that misses.

Schnitzel has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Caetano should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Schnitzel has tightened it up now! Caetano should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
