Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between PacMan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Alliss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alliss is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bring Me To Life. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, PacMan Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Alliss! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alliss misses the shot to the body. Jon Alliss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Alliss which made him look bad. Alliss throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. Jones could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Alliss moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Jones takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Jones keeps the fight on the outside. Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Alliss is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Alliss tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jones looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alliss is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well. Ground and pound from Jones. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jones lands a nice short elbow. Alliss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Alliss is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Alliss is defending against the submission attempts here by Jones.
Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Alliss can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alliss on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Alliss pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet. Jones throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Jon Alliss has been cut. Alliss looks gassed! Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jones prevents Alliss from standing back up.
Alliss wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
Jones is looking to advance position but Alliss won't allow it. Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jones prevents Alliss from standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Alliss is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jones feints and then cracks Alliss's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Alliss down. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones scores a takedown into full mount! Jones punishing his opponent with strikes. Alliss trying desperately to get to his feet.
Jones lands a big shot there that rocks Alliss but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jones has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Alliss's face.
Jones lands with some strikes. Jones looking to ground and pound but Alliss is blocking nicely. Alliss is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Jones. Alliss wants to hold on but Jones pushes him away. Jones looking to finish Alliss with some ground and pound. This is bad for Alliss! Jones with a couple of short strikes. Jones putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Jones lands a heavy elbow. Alliss taking shots to the head. Jones throws some wild stikes that Alliss manages to avoid easily.
Jones misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Jones throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Alliss is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones is in the full mount, landing strikes. Alliss regains half guard. Alliss wants to get back to his feet.
Alliss tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Alliss is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jones scores with a couple of nice shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
PacMan Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jon Alliss's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Alliss gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard. Alliss preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jones passes Alliss's left leg - he's now in half guard. Jones stops Alliss from getting back to his feet.
Jones working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jones lands strikes from half guard. Jones takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Alliss is looking to escape. Alliss is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jones is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones prevents Alliss from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Alliss misses with a combination
and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jones with a flurry of punches that miss. Alliss has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jones off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Alliss gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard. Alliss looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there. Jones prevents Alliss from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alliss wriggles free and stands up. Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Alliss is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones prevents Alliss from improving his position. Jones drops an elbow to the side of Alliss's head. Alliss is looking to escape. Alliss has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Jones working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jones stops Alliss from getting back to his feet.
Alliss wants to stand back up but Jones manages to pass into side control.
Alliss is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jones has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Alliss throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Alliss misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alliss avoids it really well and circles away. Alliss just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for PacMan Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones breaks from the clinch.
Alliss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. Jones throws a series of strikes that have Alliss backpedaling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Alliss. No joy for Jones on that attempt. Alliss tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jones counters with a nice double leg into guard. Alliss is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work. Alliss bucks up and tries to throw Jones off but instead Jones has got his back! Jones doesn't have the hooks in and Alliss manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Alliss wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Jones's closed guard. He's half up but Jones has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Jones pivots and extends the arm, Alliss falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Jones! Well done that man!
