Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tank Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tank Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong comes to the cage accompanied by Walk Away by Epidemic. Williams has chosen Bad to the Bone as his entrance music. Armstrong is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Tank Armstrong could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tank Williams's chin.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tank Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tank Williams! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Williams finds it's target. Williams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Armstrong misses with a jab, cross combination.
Armstrong feints and then cracks Williams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Williams down. Williams tries to clinch there but Armstrong circles away.
Armstrong misses with a double jab.
Armstrong moves out of range of the strikes. Armstrong cracks a nice hook into Williams's ribs. Armstrong throws a one two combo.
Armstrong lands a jab-cross combination. Armstrong throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Armstrong scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Armstrong throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Danga de danga de dang - Armstrong scores with a four punch combination! Williams is looking to clinch but Armstrong is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams misses with a body kick. Williams has a takedown stuffed. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Williams, right into the meat.
Williams lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Williams. Tank Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Armstrong as he avoids it easily. Williams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Armstrong takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Armstrong paws at him with a jab and circles away. Armstrong falls off balance throwing a combination
and Williams counters with a nice low kick that buckles Armstrong's knee momentarily. A combination from Armstrong does no damage. Williams misses with an uppercut. Williams misses with an uppercut. Armstrong throws a lazy body kick and Williams counters with an inside leg kick. Armstrong gets a takedown into half guard. Armstrong missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Armstrong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Armstrong throws and elbow that misses. Williams uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Armstrong's guard. Nice move by Williams! Williams throwing strikes but missing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Williams in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Williams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Williams looking to sit in guard and control but Armstrong gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Armstrong trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Armstrong won't allow Williams to get back to his feet. Armstrong's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Williams tries for a takedown but Armstrong circles away easily and Armstrong decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Williams's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Armstrong tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Armstrong has Williams pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Armstrong pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Williams tumbling to the mat - Armstrong dives into Williams's guard. Armstrong wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.

Williams manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Armstrong manages to get himself to full guard.
Armstrong pushes Williams off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. No joy there for Armstrong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Armstrong lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Williams backs up against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A good leg kick by Armstrong. Armstrong connects with a crisp jab. Williams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Armstrong pinned against the cage. Armstrong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Williams tries to clinch but Armstrong is having none of it. Williams misses with a few strikes there.
Armstrong moves into the clinch. Williams's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Williams misses with a punch on the inside.

Armstrong changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Williams fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Tank Armstrong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tank Williams. No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt. Williams takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Williams throws a head kick that misses. Williams is looking to clinch but Armstrong is avoiding it.
Williams throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Williams walks into a straight right hand from Armstrong. Armstrong swings and misses with a shot to the body and Williams counters with a stiff right hand. Williams tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Williams throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Williams has Armstrong up against the cage in a clinch.
Williams tries to break the clinch but Armstrong is controlling the position. Williams wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Williams fails to pull guard.
Armstrong stops a takedown attempt from Williams.
Williams jumps guard but Armstrong stands there with Williams around his waist. Williams gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Armstrong can't get the takedown.
Armstrong goes for a takedown attempt but Williams pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Armstrong clinches up with Williams and pushes him back against the cage. Tank Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tank Armstrong is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Armstrong blocks a body shot from Williams.
And that's the end of the fight! Tank Armstrong showed his dominance in that final round. Well Armstrong has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
