Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Bleak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roscoe Coltrane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roscoe Coltrane told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bleak closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Coltrane is staying active underneath Bleak, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bleak wants to stand up but Coltrane manages to regain full guard.
Bleak stops Coltrane from standing up.
Coltrane manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Bleak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Coltrane moves out of range of the strikes.
Coltrane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bleak but Bleak pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Coltrane slips a jab and a cross from Bleak.
Coltrane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bleak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bleak is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Coltrane tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Coltrane has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bleak is trying to get back to half guard.

Coltrane closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bleak to the mat! Bleak manages to get full guard.

Coltrane ducks under a wild hook from Bleak.

Matt Bleak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roscoe Coltrane.
Coltrane looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Bleak. No joy for Coltrane on that attempt.
Bleak throws a series of punches but Coltrane avoids them all with ease.
Bleak lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Coltrane walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Coltrane shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Coltrane showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coltrane is taking a breather. Bleak says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Coltrane wants to free his trapped foot but Bleak is holding on for dear life with his legs.
