Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Tiegs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and braden peery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiegs comes to the cage accompanied by target=blank>incipit satan. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
peery is looking to clinch but Tiegs is avoiding it.
peery throws a right and a left that Tiegs avoids nicely.
peery moves in looking to clinch but Tiegs pushes him off.
Tiegs shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches peery napping and manages to drive through into side control!
peery tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tiegs wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Tiegs tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tiegs looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Roger Tiegs will probably get the nod.

peery bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

peery slaps away a takedown attempt from Tiegs, before circling back to the center of the mat.
peery throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tiegs's waist but Tiegs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing peery off to one side.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tiegs tries to move into full mount but can't pass peery's legs.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

peery keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
peery clobbers Tiegs with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
