The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ash avoids a punch combination nicely.

Gehrig moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cal Gehrig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ash shoots in for a takedown but Gehrig shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ash seems to have recovered his senses.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Gehrig - that will leave a mark!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ash looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ash lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gehrig has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gehrig and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gehrig stalks Ash and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ash's face. Ash staggers backwards, shaken.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gehrig lands a big head kick that sends Ash tumbling to the mat! Gehrig takes a step backwards and waves Ash back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gehrig connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Ash tumbling to the canvas! Gehrig pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Ash was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Cal Gehrig!
