Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between uki nam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Robles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robles has chosen Mortal Kombat Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
nam fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
nam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robles swivels and escapes.
nam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Robles tries to avoid it but nam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Robles to the ground. Robles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for uki nam. That's going to take a lot out of him.

nam changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Robles looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Robles is looking for a sweep.
Robles sneaks back into half guard.
Robles looks like he's trying to stand up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Robles can do anything to dispel that myth.

nam seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

nam is looking for a kimura but Robles is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for nam to get the leverage.

nam is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Robles defends it well.
Robles keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Robles has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. nam is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Robles rushes nam and presses him up against the cage.
Robles drops down looking for an ankle pick but nam pulls his leg out and moves away.
No luck for nam with that takedown attempt.

Robles shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Robles is going olschool here, as he tries to force nam to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so nam shrugs it off.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Robles wants to finish this one by submission but nam is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Robles.
Robles takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

nam is squirming around, avoiding Robles's attempts to control the action.

Robles fails with an attempt to clinch.

Robles looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Robles in particular looking to stall.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Robles lands a nice short elbow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Robles is looking to advance position but nam won't allow it.
Robles takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Robles wants to free his trapped foot but nam is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Robles landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
It looks like Robles is going to stand back up.

Robles is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

nam is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Robles pulls his head out easily.

nam looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Robles throws a combination but it was largely blocked by nam.
Robles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. nam tries to avoid it but Robles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag nam to the ground. nam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Robles tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Robles doesn't succeed with the takedown

and nam counters with a nice double leg into side control. Robles won't be happy with that.
nam will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

nam is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Robles is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

nam thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

nam wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Robles, who protects the arm well.

nam has an Americana. Robles didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! nam is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if nam hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
