Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abbath Immortal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tough Lover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lover has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Abbath Immortal has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lover fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lover looks gassed!
Lover throws a jab but it's blocked by Immortal.
Immortal moves into the clinch.
Immortal prevents Lover from breaking the clinch.

Lover wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Lover is fighting off a takedown attempt but Immortal is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lover to the mat. Lover regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Immortal drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Immortal jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Immortal is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Immortal counters by moving into the clinch.
Immortal manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Lover really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Immortal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Immortal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lover is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Immortal uses his free foot to push down on Lover's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lover.

Lover tries to hold on but Immortal postures up.
Immortal is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Lover is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Lover flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Immortal anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Lover and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Immortal slips an arm under Lover chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Immortal has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Immortal is squeezing on Lover like an anaconda would it's prey. Lover fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
