The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler misses with a double jab.
Maia tries to clinch up but Tyler circles away and keeps his distance.
Tyler tries to keep at a distance but Maia has taken the fight into the clinch.
Maia throws a head punch that misses.
Tyler wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Tyler manages to break the clinch.
Tyler lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Damian Maia has been cut.
Tyler wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Maia sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tyler is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Maia hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
