smith is trying to stick to Schwieger's back but Schwieger is turning into smith. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in smith's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Schwieger.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Schwieger can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

smith has control of Schwieger's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Schwieger regains control of the situation pretty easily.
smith sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason smith.
I think Schwieger has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
