Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Chakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Chakka! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis gets a takedown into half guard. Chakka has a hand on Davis's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Davis takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Chakka working to try and regain half guard.
Chakka is squirming around, avoiding Davis's attempts to control the action. Davis goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Chakka is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Davis is trying to control the position but Chakka postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Chakka content to stall in guard here. Davis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chakka. Chakka controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chakka controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Despite being in the dominant position, Don Chakka just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Davis scores with a head kick.
No luck for Davis with that takedown attempt. Davis wants to clinch up but Chakka keeps it at a distance. Chakka throws a sloppy head kick and Davis counters with a shoot takedown. Chakka fights it but they end up in guard. Davis is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chakka is controlling Davis's posture. Davis won't allow Chakka to get back to his feet. Chakka keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully. Chakka looking to hit a scissor sweep but Davis is one step ahead there. Chakka controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Davis dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Davis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Davis drops an elbow to the side of Chakka's head. Chakka keeping hold of Davis's head, controlling as best he can. Chakka regains full guard. Nicely done. Chakka pushes Davis off and scrambles back to his feet.
Chakka takes a kick to the side of the head. Chakka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Davis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davis wants to control but Chakka is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chakka is pressing down on Davis's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Chakka manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Chakka working Davis over with strikes here. Chakka controlling the pace for now. Let's hope that Chakka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chakka has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Davis is forced to tap!
