The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Challenged shoots in for a takedown but Dogers shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dogers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Challenged sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dogers somewhat.

and Challenged counters with a lovely straight right hand!


It looks like Brett Dogers has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dogers is defended easily by Challenged.

Dogers slaps away a takedown attempt from Challenged, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Challenged stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Challenged wants it to stay on the feet.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Challenged counters with a three punch combo that has Dogers backing up. Dogers nods at Challenged to acknowledge the strikes.

Challenged drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dogers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Challenged accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Challenged lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Challenged tests Dogers's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Challenged bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


Dogers is rocked!


Brett Dogers's cut is getting worse.

Challenged throws a pinpoint strike between Dogers's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Dogers crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Challenged scores a great knockout victory!
