Daniels fails with a takedown attempt.
Rice throws a series of punches but Daniels avoids them all with ease.

Rice throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rice throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rice smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Daniels looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rice is looking to escape.
Daniels is looking for a kimura here.
Daniels looks gassed!
Daniels thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Rice tries to kick Daniels off but Daniels keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rice lands a left and a right that send Daniels crashing to the mat, dazed. Rice thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Rice drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Daniels right on the button. Daniels goes down! Rice follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Rice gets the win via TKO!
