Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Thiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frito Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thiago's entrance music is I made it. A fine choice. Frito Lei looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Thiago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frito Lei!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei wants to clinch up but Thiago keeps it at a distance.
Frito Lei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lei looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lei showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Thiago.
Thiago darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Thiago tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lei knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Thiago lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Thiago gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Thiago misses with a head kick.

Thiago misses with a takedown attempt - Lei sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Thiago shoots for a double leg takedown but Lei sprawls well. He's pushed Thiago's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Thiago goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Thiago shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lei sprawls well. Lei wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thiago gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Thiago. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lei moves in looking to clinch but Thiago pushes him off.
Lei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thiago swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Thiago changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lei looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lei seems a little lost for a moment, as Thiago dominates the positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thiago has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lei is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Thiago yanks on the arm and Lei is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Thiago.
