Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Spapu Te (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Dotel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Spapu Te! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrew Dotel! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Dotel or perhaps it was just good defense by Te which made him look bad. Dotel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Dotel lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Te hang on? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Te wants to hold on but Dotel pushes him away. Te tries to reverse the position but Dotel maintains control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dotel lands a heavy elbow. Dotel with the ground and pound from mount. Dotel scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Te?
Dotel putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Dotel avoids the attempt from Te to control. Te slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Te actively working from the bottom here. Dotel wants to pass to mount but Te is defending the position. The fighters are battling for position here. Te manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Te looking for a guillotine here but Dotel defends easily.
Te is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dotel landing with the ground and pound. Dotel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Te. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dotel wants to pass the guard but Te is keeping the position. Dotel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Te is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dotel working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Te's head. Te avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dotel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dotel throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dotel lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dotel's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dotel wants to pass the guard but Te is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dotel cracks Te with a solid left hand. Dotel keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Te's head. Te has his foot on Dotel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dotel works his way back into a safe position though. Te might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Te is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Dotel is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Te keeping full guard, as Dotel tries to pass. Dotel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dotel slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Te on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Te struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Te throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Te struggling a bit here. Te takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Dotel lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Te down.
Te wants to control but Dotel postures up. Dotel lands a few punches from side control. Te is looking for a sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dotel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Te wants to control but Dotel postures up. Te is trying to get back to half guard. Dotel looks up at the clock and then as Te takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dotel smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Te is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dotel off and has taken his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dotel is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Te has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dotel has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Dotel controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Te is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Dotel with him. Dotel is trying to defend but Te has an arm under the chin now! Dotel grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Spapu Te!
