The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira fails in his attempt to clinch.
Oliveira should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Pereira misses with a head kick.
Oliveira blocks a low kick nicely.
Oliveira shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pereira's guard.
Pereira is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

and Oliveira counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Oliveira tries for a kimura but Pereira is defending well.

Oliveira swings around for an armbar but Pereira sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Oliveira's guard.

Pereira has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Oliveira is proving hard to escape from.

Oliveira has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Pereira doesn't defend quickly enough and Oliveira has managed to lock this one up! Can Pereira escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Oliveira on a fantastic submission victory.
