Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Lennyville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lennyville has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lennyville is looking to clinch but West is avoiding it.
West fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lennyville is looking to clinch but West is avoiding it.
West is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lennyville sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lennyville tries to bum rush West with a series of wild strikes but West uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

West shoots in and bounces Lennyville off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
West is looking to stand up but Lennyville won't let him.
Lennyville keeping full guard, as West tries to pass.
West trying to control the position from guard on top but Lennyville is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lennyville is working an open guard so West takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

West is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lennyville is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Chris West just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Lennyville lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but West circles away quickly and effectively.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lennyville.
West throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Lennyville counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
West misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Lennyville is keen to just control but West is a slippery customer.
Lennyville is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
West has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lennyville is working away from the top position though.
Lennyville is looking to take a break and control but West is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

West pushes Lennyville off and gets back to his feet.
West misses with a double jab

and Lennyville counters with a shoot takedown. West fights it but they end up in guard.

Lennyville slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
West is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lennyville's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

West pushes Lennyville off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

West throws a nice looking combination but Lennyville bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nice takedown defense from Lennyville. No joy for West on that attempt.

Chris West is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lennyville scores with a sloppy right hand. West should have avoided that one.

West pulls guard effortlessly.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as West holds on and takes a little breather.
Lennyville tries to stand but West is controlling from the bottom.
Lennyville is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

West is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Lenny Lennyville showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


West shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lennyville but Lennyville pushes him off and we're back to square one.

West gets in close and instigates a clinch.

West gets control of Lennyville's arms and successfully pulls guard. West will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Chris West overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters circling a little - West finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Lennyville shoots for a double leg takedown but West sprawls well. He's pushed Lennyville's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

West scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
West wants to control but Lennyville is keeping him busy.

Lennyville is defending against the submission attempts here by West.

West is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
West could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lennyville forces West back against the cage and clinches.

I would just about give that final round to Lenny Lennyville.
I think Lennyville has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
