Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambacorto displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Gambacorto moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gambacorto shoots in for a takedown but popper shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
popper missing with a left hand there. Gambacorto was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
popper drops Gambacorto with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gambacorto looks back up at him and smiles so popper waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Gambacorto is rocked!
It looks like Mark Gambacorto has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
popper falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gambacorto counters with a nice kick to the body.
popper throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gambacorto has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gambacorto is trying to break free.
popper tries to circle away but Gambacorto has him pinned against the cage.
popper is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
popper breaks from the clinch.
A jab from popper misses.
Gambacorto gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gambacorto is trying to work for a single leg takedown but popper pulls him back up using the underhooks.
popper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gambacorto takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gambacorto is still on wobbly legs! Can popper finish him?
popper darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Gambacorto's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles popper before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
