Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Jacobs will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamie Kingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Jacobs! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobs doesn't manage to clinch there - Kingston circles away.
Jacobs moves into the clinch. Jacobs ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jacobs no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kingston in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kingston scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kingston preventing the sweep. Jacobs is trying to control the position but Kingston postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingston preventing the sweep. Jacobs controls Kingston momentarily but Kingston frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingston thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jacobs has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kingston drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jacobs had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kingston is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jacobs Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kingston's back instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacobs working for a choke but Kingston is defending well. Kingston wants to control his opponent's hands but Jacobs gets his hands free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kingston is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jacobs gets his way!
Kingston controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad spot.
Kingston is keeping busy.
Jacobs looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kingston trying to control but not successfully. Jacobs struggling to keep hold of the position.
Jacobs not allowing Kingston to control his hands. Kingston is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jacobs is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jamie Kingston will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kingston takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jacobs misses with a takedown attempt and Kingston counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kingston takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Jacobs wants to get back to his feet.
Kingston is working for a submission of some sort.
Jacobs is breathing heavily. The fighters are battling for position here. Jacobs manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingston prevents Jacobs from getting back to his feet. Kingston drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kingston jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jacobs is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kingston defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kingston keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jacobs's head. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kingston's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kingston scoring with punches to the head and body. Jacobs looking to control.
Kingston throwing strikes but missing. Jacobs has momentary wrist control but Kingston slips an elbow through the middle. Kingston passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jacobs trying to control here.
Kingston lands strikes from half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kingston is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jacobs defends it well. Jacobs is trying to stand up here but Kingston is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamie Kingston dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Jacobs closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kingston to the mat! Kingston manages to get full guard. Kingston thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Kingston keeping moving, preventing Jacobs from controlling successfully. Kingston looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Jacobs looking to sit in guard and control but Kingston gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jacobs is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kingston is controlling him. Jacobs not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jacobs gets the takedown into side control. Jacobs working away. Jacobs trying to control the position but Kingston is working away. Kingston is trying to control Jacobs's posture but Jacobs avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs avoids the strikes from the bottom by Kingston. Kingston prevents Jacobs from moving into mount. Kingston is trying to control Jacobs's posture but Jacobs avoids it. Kingston gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kingston makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kingston. Jacobs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kingston is keeping the position for now. Jacobs loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kingston is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Jacobs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kingston has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
