Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Markson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Shotokahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jin Shotokahn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Markson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Markson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shotokahn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Markson somewhat.
Shotokahn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Markson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Markson ducks under a wild hook from Shotokahn.
Markson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Markson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Markson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Markson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Shotokahn did well to prevent Markson getting side control.

Markson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jin Shotokahn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Markson decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Shotokahn fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Markson checks it well.

Markson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Shotokahn is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Markson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Shotokahn is looking to escape.

Markson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Shotokahn because Markson loaded up on that one.

Markson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jin Shotokahn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Shotokahn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Markson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
