The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carraretto lands a big head kick that sends Ubericles tumbling to the mat! Carraretto takes a step backwards and waves Ubericles back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ubericles is rocked!

It looks like Ariel Ubericles has been cut.

Ubericles shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Carraretto is trying to defend but Ubericles finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Oh Ubericles is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ubericles prevents Carraretto from improving his position.
Ubericles seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Ubericles is keen to just control but Carraretto is a slippery customer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Carraretto goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Carraretto throws a head kick that misses.
Ubericles shoots in looking for a takedown. Carraretto tries to sprawl out of it but Ubericles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Carraretto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ubericles moves out of range of the body kick.

Ubericles shoots in but no luck this time.
Ubericles blocks a head kick by Carraretto.

Carraretto forces Ubericles back against the ropes and clinches.
Ubericles pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Ubericles goes for a takedown in the clinch but Carraretto prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ariel Ubericles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ubericles takes a knee to the side of the body.
Ubericles is breathing heavily.
Carraretto lands an elbow just above Ubericles 's eye.

Carraretto tries a knee to the head but Ubericles blocks it.
Carraretto misses with a knee to the head.
Carraretto connects with a nasty looking knee right to Ubericles's face.

Carraretto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carraretto tries for a takedown but Ubericles sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Carraretto throws a head kick but Ubericles moves out of range.
Carraretto lands a big head kick that sends Ubericles to the canvas! Carraretto follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
