The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger misses with an attempted mid kick.

Kruger unloads with some shots from mount but bucks and avoids them well.
Kruger swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and is now in Kruger's guard. A big mistake from Kruger there, giving up the dominant position!

Kruger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kruger is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

and decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kruger's guard.
Kruger looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! has picked Kruger up and slammed him! Kruger can't keep hold of the triangle and manages to pass to side control!

Kruger misses with a low kick.
Kruger scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kruger clobbers with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Kruger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kruger wants it to stay on the feet.
is looking to clinch but Kruger is avoiding it.

and counters with a head kick. That will keep Kruger thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Kruger throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Akuma is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kruger goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Kruger lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Kruger lands with an overhand left.
Kruger smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The fighters circling - Kruger throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Oh but Kruger is tightening it up a little... has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! taps out! nice BJJ there by Kruger!
