Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Mars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Da mian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mian is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mars's half guard.
mian is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
mian is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mars sees it coming and defends easily.
Mars trying to hold on to mian's head to control him but mian postures up.
mian not doing much here.
mian is thwarting Mars's attempts to control the position.
mian is looking for a kimura here.
mian works his way into full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mars is desperately trying to improve his position but mian has a good base and remains in mount.
mian looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
mian has hold of Mars's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mars manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mars wants to control but mian is having none of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
mian looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
mian works his way to his opponent's back.
mian gets his hands free as Mars looks to control.

Mars looking very determined here, making life difficult for mian.
mian doesn't have the hooks in and Mars manages to turn into his guard.
Mars distracts mian with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Mars drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but mian manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mars has mian in his guard.
mian wants to control from the top but Mars keeps moving.
mian tries to free his leg and advance position but Mars is retaining full guard.
Mars looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
mian drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and mian jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mars lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for mian!
Mars misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mars goes for an armbar but mian turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from mian.
mian slips nicely into half guard.
Mars tries to get to full guard but mian has control of the leg.
mian is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mars has managed to free his arm - good work.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mars fakes high and swings low for a body shot but mian manages to avoid it.
mian connects with a single shot there.
Mars gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mars is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and mian defends well.
mian trying to control the position from guard on top but Mars is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mars is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
mian passes Mars's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mars moves into full guard.
mian stays in close to Mars's body and controls the position.
Let's hope that mian has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Mars is looking for a triangle but mian pushes his legs off easily.
mian slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mars controls mian momentarily but mian frees himself.
Mars had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. mian defends it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
mian thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
mian drops back looking for a leg! Mars is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mars manages to kick mian off! mian jumps back into Mars's guard.
mian tries to free his leg and advance position but Mars is retaining full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Mars gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows mian to score an easy takedown into full guard.
mian drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mars dives on top into guard.
mian keeping moving, preventing Mars from controlling successfully.
mian is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mars has his hands clasped together but mian extends an breaks Mars's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by mian.
