Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Szakowtski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Szakowtski comes to the cage accompanied by Saliva - Ladies and Gentleman. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Penn takes the fight into the clinch. Penn landing knees to the body.
Penn pulls guard successfully.
Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Szakowtski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Szakowtski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Szakowtski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Penn dives on top into guard. Penn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Penn throwing strikes but missing. Penn controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Szakowtski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Szakowtski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Penn controls from within his opponent's guard. Penn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Szakowtski is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Penn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Penn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Szakowtski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Penn manages to avoid it. Penn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Szakowtski's guard. Penn trying to control but Szakowtski is working from the bottom. Szakowtski is trying to keep Penn in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Szakowtski wants to sweep here but Penn controlling him for the moment. Penn tries to stand but Szakowtski is controlling from the bottom. Szakowtski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Penn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Penn passes Szakowtski's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Szakowtski works his way to full guard. Good work. Penn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Penn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Penn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Szakowtski controls Penn momentarily but Penn frees himself. Szakowtski looking to control but Penn passes into half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Szakowtski tries to roll over but Penn keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Penn dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Szakowtski scores with a nice head shot. Penn gets a clinch. Penn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Penn. Penn walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Szakowtski checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Penn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Szakowtski paws at him with a jab and circles away. Penn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Szakowtski. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Penn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Szakowtski's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Szakowtski swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Szakowtski not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn stands and steps away. Szakowtski gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Mark Penn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Penn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Szakowtski did well to prevent Penn getting side control. Penn is breathing heavily. Szakowtski works his way to full guard. Good work. Szakowtski keeping moving, preventing Penn from controlling successfully. Szakowtski looking for a sweep. Not yet Szakowtski, not yet. Penn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Szakowtski wants to hit a switch here but Penn passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Szakowtski there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn controlling his opponent. Szakowtski really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Szakowtski sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Szakowtski moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Szakowtski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Penn trying to control but Szakowtski is working from the bottom. Szakowtski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Penn! Penn tries to hold on but Szakowtski pushes him away.

Szakowtski looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Penn is trying desperately to improve position. Szakowtski goes for an armbar but Penn turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Penn. Penn stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Szakowtski has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Penn manages to get his head free but now Szakowtski has transitioned to an armbar! Penn grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Szakowtski! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
