The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sii misses with a straight left.
Allmen forces Sii back against the cage and clinches.

Sii avoids the elbow strike from Allmen, against the cage.
Allmen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sii blocks it with crossed arms.
Allmen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sii.
Allmen lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Greg Sii has been cut.
Sii dodges an elbow strike from Allmen.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sii can do anything to dispel that myth.

Sii creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Allmen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Allmen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sii has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sii!
