Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Big Daddy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joeri De Visscher! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from De Visscher. De Visscher drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. De Visscher prevents Daddy from getting back to his feet. De Visscher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. De Visscher drops back looking for a leg! Daddy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Daddy manages to kick De Visscher off! De Visscher jumps back into Daddy's guard. De Visscher is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as De Visscher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. De Visscher showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Daddy is looking to stand up but De Visscher isn't so interested in that idea. De Visscher wants to stand but Daddy is controlling his posture from full guard. De Visscher looks gassed!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Daddy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and De Visscher counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by De Visscher. Daddy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Daddy gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Daddy tries for a takedown but De Visscher circles away easily and De Visscher counters with a nice double leg into side control. Daddy won't be happy with that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Daddy manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Daddy seems to be working for a kimura but De Visscher defends the submission attempt. De Visscher is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Daddy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Daddy's back! Daddy tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Daddy is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Visscher trying to control but Daddy is having none of it. Daddy is trying to reverse the position but instead De Visscher has taken his back - oops! You can see the frustration on Daddy's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Daddy is taking damage to the body and head. Daddy wants to control his opponent's hands but De Visscher gets his hands free. De Visscher doesn't have the hooks in and Daddy manages to turn into his guard.
Daddy won't allow De Visscher to sweep him here. De Visscher managing to control the position. Daddy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Daddy passes easily into side control. Nice work. De Visscher tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Visscher manages to get back to half guard. De Visscher looking for submissions off his back. Daddy wants to stand but De Visscher has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. De Visscher tries to get to full guard but Daddy has control of the leg. De Visscher is trying to control but can't.
Daddy is looking to advance position but De Visscher won't allow it. De Visscher manages to get to full guard.

Daddy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Visscher is trying to get back to half guard. Daddy wants to lay and pray for a moment but De Visscher keeps working. De Visscher gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. De Visscher makes his way to full guard. A much better position for De Visscher. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Visscher looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. De Visscher has his feet on Daddy's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. De Visscher looking for a takedown here - he's got it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joeri De Visscher dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
De Visscher doesn't succeed with the takedown and Daddy counters with a nice double leg into side control. De Visscher won't be happy with that. Joeri De Visscher has got the better of the ground game so far. De Visscher has control of an arm but Daddy manages to advance to Daddy's back! Daddy is looking for the choke from the back position but De Visscher is controlling his hands well. Daddy trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Daddy working for the choke. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Daddy's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Daddy working for a choke but De Visscher is defending well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. De Visscher takes a big shot to the side of the head.
It looks like Joeri De Visscher has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Visscher wants to escape the position.
De Visscher fending off the submission attempt from Daddy. De Visscher manages to reverse the position and now he's in Daddy's guard. Nice work there by De Visscher.

De Visscher stops Daddy from standing up. Daddy keeping moving, preventing De Visscher from controlling successfully. Daddy wants to get back to his feet but De Visscher is in a dominant position and won't allow it. De Visscher looking to sit in guard and control but Daddy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Daddy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing De Visscher to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Daddy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - De Visscher pulls down on the head and he's put Daddy to sleep! This one is all over!
