Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Petersen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Willis! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petersen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Willis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Petersen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Petersen misses with a few strikes there.
Willis shoots in for a takedown but Petersen shows good takedown defense. Petersen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Petersen wants it to stay on the feet. Willis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petersen's waist but Petersen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Willis off to one side. Willis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Petersen tries to avoid it but Willis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Petersen to the ground. Petersen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Petersen as Willis shoots in. Petersen throws a leg kick but Willis sees it coming and checks it nicely. Dylan Petersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Petersen's head. Willis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Petersen. Petersen misses with a few strikes there.
A punch combination from Petersen misses. A head kick from Willis lands but Petersen takes it in his stride. Petersen does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Petersen is breathing heavily. Willis checks the leg kick nicely there.
Willis moves out of range of the strikes. Petersen throws a right and a left that Willis avoids nicely. Willis gets a clinch. Petersen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Petersen is trying to break free. Willis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice sprawl there from Petersen as Willis shoots in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petersen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Willis is out of range and Petersen settles back down. Petersen takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Willis fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Petersen throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Petersen misses with a two punch combination.

Willis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Petersen. Petersen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Petersen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Willis circles away quickly and effectively. Petersen stuffs the takedown. Willis throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Petersen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Willis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Willis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Willis clinches with his opponent.

Willis has his hands on Petersen's head, controlling the position. Willis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Petersen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Willis is keeping the position for now. Petersen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Willis wants to sweep but no luck. Willis lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Willis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Still in half guard, Willis seems content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Willis wants to pass the guard but Petersen is defending well. Willis seems to be looking for submissions.
Willis wants to control but Petersen is keeping him busy. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Willis clinches up against the cage. Willis decides to pull guard. Willis looking for a sweep. Not yet Willis, not yet. Petersen advances to half guard. Willis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Petersen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Petersen's back! Willis controlling the position well here. Petersen rolled but Willis kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Good control from Willis. Petersen trying to control the hands but Willis won't let him. Willis has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Willis's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Petersen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Petersen rolls, trying to escape but Willis keeps control of the position.
What can Petersen do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Let's hope that Willis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Petersen trying to control the position but Willis manages to sink in the hooks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Willis keeps control of the position easily here as Petersen tries to buck him off.

Petersen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Willis's guard. Willis desperately trying to maintain half guard. Petersen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Willis is just riding it out for now. Petersen eventually gives up the hold. Willis regains full guard. Nicely done. Dylan Petersen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bruce Willis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Petersen passes into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Willis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Willis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
