Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Jonsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonsson has chosen Lover's Concerto by Kelly Chen as his entrance music. Andreas Jonsson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Dalton! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Andreas Jonsson! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dalton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dalton stuffs the takedown attempt from Jonsson. Jonsson gets slowly back to his feet. Jonsson fails with the takedown. Dalton swings for the body but Jonsson moves out of range.

Jonsson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Johnny Dalton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Jonsson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dalton misses with a looping right. Jonsson shoots in for a takedown but Dalton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dalton keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Jonsson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jonsson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jonsson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dalton has escaped the position, nice work there. Dalton stops Jonsson from passing to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jonsson has knee on belly and moves into mount. Jonsson looking to secure an arm triangle but Dalton defends it well. Dalton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jonsson on the ground. Jonsson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Dalton is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Dalton and Jonsson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dalton regains half guard. Jonsson is pressing down on Dalton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dalton is holding on for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dalton wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andreas Jonsson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Dalton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jonsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dalton's waist but Dalton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jonsson off to one side. A punch lands to the side of Jonsson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Johnny Dalton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jonsson staying out of range there. Jonsson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dalton throws out the jab. Dalton uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jonsson has time to react. Dalton swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Dalton has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jonsson is really squeezing tight and eventually Dalton passes out! Jonsson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
