Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andru Albrecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Stinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Albrecht's entrance music is No Sunshine by DMX. A fine choice. Andru Albrecht has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albrecht looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stinson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Albrecht can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Stinson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Albrecht is aware though and is defending well.

Stinson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Albrecht is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Stinson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Albrecht's back instead.
Albrecht manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.
Albrecht drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Albrecht knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stinson on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stinson tries to buck Albrecht off but Albrecht is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

That was a close round but I would say that Andru Albrecht will probably get the nod.
