Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clinton Westley!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Ward does no damage.
Ward gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Westley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ward.
No joy there for Ward, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ward misses with the combination.
Westley with a hook.
Ward misses with a double jab.
Ward fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Westley lands with a thumping leg kick.
Westley slips a jab and a cross from Ward.
Ward misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circle momentarily. Westley darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Westley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ward is breathing heavily.
Westley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Westley connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ward takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ward will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Westley connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ward throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ward lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Westley circles away quickly and effectively.
Westley lands with an overhand left.
Westley lands a jab to the head.
Ward on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ward is rocked!
Ward is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Westley.
Oh Ward is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Westley dances in with a quick combination. Ward is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Westley snaps Ward's head back. Ward stumbles backwards against the cage. Westley steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Ward's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Ward just didn't come prepared.
