The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Jong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fairhoof's waist but Fairhoof gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing De Jong off to one side.
De Jong scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

De Jong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fairhoof sprawls well. Fairhoof wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. De Jong gets slowly back to his feet.
