Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jakie Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Coffee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coffee has chosen Fidelity by Regina Spektor as his entrance music. Donald Coffee acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jakie Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Donald Coffee! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coffee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coffee throws a right and a left that Chan avoids nicely. Chan moves into the clinch successfully.
Coffee looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Chan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Coffee wants to get back to striking at distance but Chan won't allow it.

Chan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Chan is working for takedown but Coffee is calmly controlling the position for now. Chan tries to score a body lock takedown but Coffee shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Coffee has had enough of the clinch but Chan keeps him there for the moment. Chan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Coffee pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jakie Chan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coffee can't break the clinch.
Chan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Chan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Coffee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Coffee wants to get back to striking at distance but Chan won't allow it.
Chan looking to slow down the pace here. Chan keeps control of Coffee as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chan displaying some good clinch control by pressing Coffee up against the cage. Chan is working for takedown but Coffee is calmly controlling the position for now. Coffee has had enough of the clinch but Chan keeps him there for the moment. Coffee is trying to force a seperation but Chan has the dominant position. Coffee is looking to break free of the clinch but Chan has double underhooks. Coffee tries to break the clinch but Chan is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan has Coffee pressed against the cage, preventing Coffee from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Chan misses with a knee to the head. Coffee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Coffee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chan. Coffee tries a head kick but it misses.
Chan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Coffee finds it's way round the side to connect with Chan's head. Donald Coffee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Chan is breathing heavily. Coffee scores with a jab. Chan acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Coffee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Coffee misses with a hook. Coffee throws a head kick but Chan moves out of range.
Chan misses with a takedown attempt - Coffee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Chan misses with a double jab
and Coffee counters with a head kick. That will keep Chan thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Chan avoids a punch combination nicely.
A jab lands there for Coffee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coffee scores with the left hand. Chan knows he should have avoided that one. Coffee connects with a stiff jab that staggers Chan - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Donald Coffee!
