The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
You gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chase.

Still in the clinch, You scores with a nice short uppercut.
You on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
You tries to pull guard but Chase won't allow it.
Johnny Chase has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beat You.
You pulls guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

You throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
You circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chase connects with a solid leg kick.

Chase uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from You.
You drops Chase with a beautiful combination! Chase stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - You is looking for the KO!
Chase is breathing heavily.
A slow jab from You misses its intended target.
You feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

You postures up in Chase's guard and throws a big left but Chase blocks it.
You wants to control from the top but Chase keeps moving.

Chase utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
You postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Chase fails in his attempt to clinch.
Chase showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from You.
You shoots in and drives through. Chase sprawls well.
Chase moves in looking to clinch but You pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Chase throws out a powerful jab.
Chase gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows You to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Chase wants to control but You passes easily into half guard.
Chase is trying to maintain the position but You is very close to passing his half guard.
You is trying to control. Chase wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Chase looking for submissions off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
You is looking for a kimura but Chase is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for You to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Beat You dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

You will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
