Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zaq Wu Sang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Uri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Uri has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Zaq Wu Sang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zaq Wu Sang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Uri! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wu Sang. Uri fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Wu Sang shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Uri as he jumps to the side. Wu Sang swinging wilding here.
Wu Sang jabbing away but nothing is landing. Wu Sang shoots in for a takedown but Uri shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zaq Wu Sang. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uri connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wu Sang. Wu Sang circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Uri lands a jab to Wu Sang's midsection. Wu Sang misses with a wild body shot. Uri loads up on a big right hand but Wu Sang slips the punch. Uri misses with a jab, cross combination.
Uri connects with a body shot. Wu Sang slips a straight right by Uri. Uri throws a body punch but Wu Sang moves out of range. Uri catches Wu Sang with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Uri throws a series of punches but Wu Sang moves out of range. Uri tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wu Sang was well out of range. Poor timing from Uri. Wu Sang shoots for a takedown but Uri saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jab, jab by Uri - just one landing. Uri takes a swing at Wu Sang's ribcage but misses. Some wild striking there from Uri.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wu Sang shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Uri tests Wu Sang's chin there with a solid looking shot. Uri scores with the left hand. Wu Sang knows he should have avoided that one. Wu Sang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Uri circles away. Uri lands a jab to Wu Sang's midsection. Wu Sang is breathing heavily. Wu Sang is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Uri's half guard. Uri gets back to full guard.
Uri wants to sweep but no luck. Uri looking to control.
Uri keeping moving, preventing Wu Sang from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Uri holds on and takes a little breather.

Uri is looking for a triangle but Wu Sang pushes his legs off easily.
Uri is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Wu Sang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Uri has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wu Sang has managed to get both his arms back between Uri's legs - danger averted. Wu Sang controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Uri is trying to keep Wu Sang in close.
Uri is pulling down on Wu Sang's head. It's preventing any offense from Wu Sang, at least for the moment. Uri wants to sweep here but Wu Sang controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wu Sang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Uri swivels though and keeps the full guard. Uri had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wu Sang defends it easily. Uri bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wu Sang's guard. Wu Sang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Uri trying to control but Wu Sang is working from the bottom. Wu Sang manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Uri is bucking up trying to escape but Wu Sang cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Sam Uri has been cut. Uri is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Wu Sang in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Uri bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Wu Sang lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Uri! Wu Sang connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wu Sang forces the positional change into back control. Wu Sang trying to control momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sam Uri will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sam Uri's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Uri connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Wu Sang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Uri sees it coming and avoids it easily. Uri uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Wu Sang lands a nice shot that snaps Uri's head back.
Nice defenses there by Wu Sang. Wu Sang looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Uri! Uri tries to hold on but Wu Sang pushes him away. Uri can't escape the position.
Wu Sang landing shots from mount. Wu Sang wants to control the pace but Uri is squirming around nicely. Uri really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Wu Sang lands a nice shot to the head.

Wu Sang pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That has opened up Sam Uri's cut even more. Uri is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wu Sang controlling from mount. Uri keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Uri is breathing heavily. Wu Sang lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. A nice elbow there by Wu Sang. Wu Sang controlling from the full mount. Uri is trying to escape the mount.
Zaq Wu Sang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wu Sang working for a submission but Uri is keeping him at bay. Uri bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Uri won't allow Wu Sang to sweep him here. Wu Sang is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Uri defends well. Uri wants to control from the top but Wu Sang keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uri preventing the sweep. Uri is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wu Sang manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Wu Sang is landing with some decent strikes but Uri is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Uri tries to improve his position but instead Wu Sang has taken his back!

I would not like to be Uri right now.
Wu Sang is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Uri is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wu Sang wants to control but Uri manages to buck him off and is now in Wu Sang's guard! Nice work there by Uri! Uri is trying desperately to improve position. Wu Sang is working for a guillotine from mount but Uri frees his head quite easily.

Uri gets back to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Uri trying to control here.
Wu Sang is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Uri defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wu Sang is looking to advance position but Uri won't allow it. Uri is looking to control Wu Sang's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Uri avoid being mounted? Uri might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wu Sang kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Wu Sang not landing any meaningful shots this time. Uri tries to roll over but Wu Sang keeps him under control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wu Sang swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wu Sang uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Uri. Wu Sang blocks a jab. Wu Sang looks to score with a jab to the body but Uri is just out of range. Wu Sang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Uri's waist but Uri gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wu Sang off to one side. Zaq Wu Sang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wu Sang swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Uri scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Uri will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Uri scores with a decent looking hook. Uri cracks Wu Sang with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A telegraphed right hand from Uri misses the target. Uri fails to land with a series of punches.
Uri throws a shot from downtown. Wu Sang moves away and avoids it. Wu Sang staying out of range there. Uri scores with a punch to the head. Wu Sang avoids the body shot from Uri.
Wu Sang uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Uri. Sam Uri is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wu Sang uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Uri. Wu Sang throws a shot from downtown. Uri moves away and avoids it. Wu Sang shoots in and bounces Uri off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wu Sang trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Uri is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Uri manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Wu Sang is in all sorts of trouble here.
Uri goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Wu Sang is on top in guard.
Wu Sang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wu Sang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uri looking for a guillotine here but Wu Sang defends easily.
Wu Sang trying to control the position from guard on top but Uri is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Uri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wu Sang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wu Sang forces his way into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Zaq Wu Sang showed his dominance in that final round. I think Wu Sang has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
