Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Cod. That's going to slow nosho down.
A slow jab from Cod misses its intended target.
Cod looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? nosho is fending him off so far but Cod persists. Nope, nosho circles away and we're back to standing.
Cod throws a nice head kick!
Cod lands with a thumping leg kick.
nosho slaps away a takedown attempt from Cod, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cod misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from nosho.

Cod shoots in but nosho avoids the takedown attempt easily.

nosho throws a nice looking combination but Cod bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cod shoots for a takedown but nosho saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Cod avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cod moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
nosho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cod moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cod shoots for a takedown but nosho saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
nosho takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Cod changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. nosho tries to avoid it but Cod manages to keep hold of a leg and drag nosho to the ground. nosho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cod is breathing heavily.
No joy there for nosho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cod drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cod loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Cod drops back, looking for a kneebar! nosho looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. nosho looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from nosho!
nosho wants to stand but Cod has his arm trapped.

Cod is not content to let nosho control the position.
nosho happy to just control the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Cod's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
nosho tries to close the distance and clinch but Cod swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cod.
Cod slips a straight right by nosho.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cod dodges the punch combination from nosho.
Cod throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by nosho.

Cod shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cod was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
nosho is bucking up trying to escape but Cod cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Cod is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
nosho tries to get back to half guard but can't.
nosho is breathing heavily.
Cod has hold of nosho's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and nosho manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Cod lands a heavy elbow.

nosho wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Cod.
Cod has control of nosho's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and nosho regains control of the situation pretty easily.
nosho bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Cod wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and nosho is now in half guard.

nosho is keen to just control but Cod is a slippery customer.
Cod wants to get back to full guard but nosho has passed into side control.
nosho prevents Cod from getting the reversal.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cod is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

nosho tries to control but Cod wriggling away.

Manny Cod dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
nosho throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cod.
Cod keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from nosho.
Cod tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but nosho was well out of range. Poor timing from Cod.

Cod lands a nice looking kick to the body. nosho takes a step back to recover.
Cod throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Cod throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. nosho was covering up waiting for the punch and Cod finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cod has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cod drops back looking for a leg! nosho is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and nosho manages to kick Cod off! Cod jumps back into nosho's guard.
Cod stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. nosho swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cod has gone for a leg lock! nosho slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cod's guard.
