Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Murilo Fyster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Santia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Murilo Fyster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Javier Santia! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fyster closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Santia did well to prevent Fyster getting side control. Santia keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fyster is keen to just control but Santia is a slippery customer. Santia works his way to full guard. Good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fyster throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Santia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fyster is one step ahead there. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Santia holds on and takes a little breather. Santia controls Fyster momentarily but Fyster frees himself. Santia wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Santia has his foot on Fyster's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fyster works his way back into a safe position though. Fyster in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Santia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fyster is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fyster wants to pass the guard but Santia is keeping the position. Santia pulls Fyster in close to his closed guard and prevents Fyster from doing any damage or advancing position. Fyster throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fyster accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Santia trying to keep a closed guard but Fyster is proving a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fyster scores with a crisp jab that stopped Santia in his tracks. Santia doesn't manage to clinch there - Fyster circles away.
Santia feints and as Fyster raises his hands in defense, Santia changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Santia tries to free his leg and advance position but Fyster is retaining full guard. Santia wants to control from the top but Fyster keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santia trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Santia drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fyster manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Santia has Fyster in his guard. Santia looks gassed! Fyster lands a couple of digs. Santia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fyster is one step ahead there. Santia can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fyster controls the pace. Santia trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fyster lands a couple of decent looking shots. Santia looking for a sweep. Not yet Santia, not yet. Fyster works over Santia with some ground and pound from guard. Fyster landing some decent shots from guard. Fyster preventing the sweep. Santia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fyster gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Santia looking for a guillotine here but Fyster defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fyster landing some decent shots from guard. Santia looking to control.
Fyster scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Fyster wants to pass the guard but Santia is keeping the position. Fyster working some strikes from top position. Santia trying to keep a closed guard but Fyster is proving a slippery customer.
Fyster tries to free his leg and advance position but Santia is retaining full guard. Santia is looking for a triangle but Fyster pushes his legs off easily.
Santia is trying to keep Fyster in close.
Fyster postures up and lands a big shot to Santia's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Murilo Fyster dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fyster swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Santia.
It looks like Javier Santia has been cut. Fyster cracks Santia with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Santia tries to close the distance and clinch but Fyster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Santia tries to clinch up but Fyster circles away and keeps his distance. Fyster closes the distance and pushes Santia back into the cage. Fyster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Excellent takedown into side control there by Santia. Santia is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Fyster looks calm but he's in trouble here. Santia gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Fyster is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Santia lets go of the hold and Fyster can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Javier Santia!
