Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Maverick Heath! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, david dunn! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heath looks to land a combination but dunn avoids it well. Heath swats away the attempt to clinch by dunn. dunn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Heath's half guard. Heath really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. dunn trying to mount his opponent but Heath defends it. Heath looking for subs from the bottom but dunn mounts him! dunn landing strikes from the mount. Heath is squirming around, avoiding dunn's attempts to control the action. Heath swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Heath is looking to get to half guard. dunn trying to control but he's not successful this time. dunn prevents Heath from getting the reversal.

Heath is trying desperately to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. dunn stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. dunn closes the distance and clinches. dunn manages to break the clinch.
dunn feints and as Heath raises his hands in defense, dunn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. dunn stands up over Heath, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Heath had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. dunn is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Heath Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take dunn's back instead. dunn manages to scramble and ends up in full guard, under a barage of strikes . Great composure from dunn. dunn is trying to control the position but Heath postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. dunn has his foot on Heath's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Heath works his way back into a safe position though. dunn is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
dunn looks gassed! Heath postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! dunn is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Heath, into his guard. Heath is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but dunn frees his head nicely. Oh but Heath has switched to an armbar! dunn is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
