Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bogdan Vasiliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Der (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasiliev comes into the arena with Rush - Big Money blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Bogdan Vasiliev has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasiliev tries to close the distance and clinch but Der swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vasiliev throws a head kick that misses.
Vasiliev closes the distance and clinches.
Der changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Vasiliev fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Vasiliev throws a head kick but Der moves out of range.
Der feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Der trying to control the position from guard on top but Vasiliev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Vasiliev wants to stand and escape but Der is having none of it.

Der avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Vasiliev scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Der gets back to full guard.
Vasiliev is posturing up here but Der has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Vasiliev tries to roll out but it's too tight and Vasiliev has to tap! Slick submission there by Der!
