Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ad Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Mastroianni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po misses with a takedown attempt - Mastroianni sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mastroianni changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Po looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Po sneaks back into half guard.
Mastroianni is thwarting Po's attempts to control the position.
Mastroianni stalling.
Mastroianni is pressing down on Po's thigh, looking to free his foot. Po is holding on for now.
Po tries to roll over but Mastroianni keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mastroianni in particular looking to stall.
Po wants to control but Mastroianni is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Po escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mastroianni gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mastroianni would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
